The Pharmacy Department of Alem Bank Health Center is responsible for ensuring the availability, proper storage, management, dispensing, and rational use of medicines and medical supplies.
- our department perform the following function
1. To maintain continuous availability of essential medicines and medical supplies.
2. To strengthen medicine forecasting, quantification, procurement, and inventory management.
3. To reduce medicine stock-outs, expiries, wastage, and inventory discrepancies.
4. To ensure proper storage and security of medicines and medical supplies.
5. To improve rational prescribing, dispensing, and use of medicines.
6. To strengthen patient counseling and medication adherence.
7. To strengthen adverse drug reaction and other pharmacovigilance activities.
8. To improve pharmacy documentation, reporting, and accountability.
9. To strengthen the knowledge and skills of pharmacy staff.
10. To improve customer satisfaction and the quality of pharmaceutical services.
